Nice job on getting all those ads in. No major problems except that one of the businesses on our downtown house ad (3B) had their name misspelled. Corrected version in showroom now. Hint: that same business had an ad of their own on 2B and the name was correct there.

Got the test pages from the R team. Getting photos and other items together for a miweb test.

Katie, I need more information on the search issue:
-How are you connecting? Command-K, recent servers (from Apple menu), dock aliases?
-Give me specific file names. Even though it may seem like none of them can be found because you searched for 5 unsuccessful ones in a row, that's not necessarily true.
-I did notice that somebody checked the "remember password in keychain" box again for the server login, which was the case before with the 2 machines that were having this problem. Not saying it's related, but it's something in common with the time/machines involved.
-In a somewhat related note, I found/tweaked a script that deletes any stored AFP passwords from the keychain on startup. Could be useful in larger departments where user turnover is high and some folks might pick convenience over security.071607

Problems importing PPC G5 data into the new Intel MacPro's. We're looking at possibly having to install everything from the ground up, which in the end may save us some headaches anyway. It'd be nice to have the option of importing it, though.

Ad 13913 was a mess. There's a misspelled word on the text at the top which we should have caught. I know the ad was sent to us, but it's a pretty big typo. We couldn't fix it on deadline because the text is not editable in the original and it has a drop shadow that would need to be recreated. Also, the black text on the PDF was on all 4 plates, but correct on the .ai file. Are they different versions of the ad? If not, we need to trace it back to where/how the PDF was created. That problem was fixed on the page for tomorrow, but not the ad files.
The Illustrator preferences file on Design_3 was the problem. I trashed it and the vector "fuzziness" that Domonique was referring to is gone. May also alleviate the crashes reported in the dot plans. Let me know.
And does anyone know why our font set was gone from Suitcase on that machine? It's back on now.053007

Tonight's storm left miweb without internet access. Pages 1,2 and 3 had to be sent to Todd, who burned a CD and drove it there.
Michelle, the reason the white text was disappearing into those apt. pictures was because they were set to overprint instead of knocking out. When the transparencies got flattened, it forced that text to blend into the background photo. By going to the attributes palette and un-checking the overprint box, all was good.
